Hi! I’m Lily Winebarger, A-LPC/MHSP
Lily’s counseling approach is centered on rest, authenticity, and accommodation. She meets her clients where they are and holds their stories with deep respect. She knows that navigating a world that wasn’t built for you can be exhausting, and starting therapy while you’re just trying to survive can feel daunting. Lily believes that clients deserve space to show up without masking or shrinking, and healing happens when your needs are honored.
Lily provides a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to show up as their true, authentic selves. As a queer, AuDHD therapist, she brings lived experience into the room for clients who want a therapist who truly gets it. She draws her practice from a number of modalities that include Relational Cultural Theory, Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy. While Lily draws from a number of modalities, she tailors her practice to each specific need and age. She is passionate about advocating for her clients and making therapy an accessible space for everyone.
Sessions with Lily look different for each person. She provides multiple formats for connection so clients can communicate in the most comfortable form possible. This can include talk therapy, video games, music, board games, or art — whatever helps you or your child feel most authentic.
Lily works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of concerns that include but are not limited to:
Autism
ADHD
Disabilities
C-PTSD
Trauma
LGBTQ+ identities
Life transitions
Stress and burnout related to masking and navigating inaccessible systems
Lily earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2025. She is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor.
