Hi, I’m Brandi Neely, MFT Intern

Brandi Neely, MA, MFT Intern holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Christian Counseling and is completing her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, along with a Master’s Certificate in Addiction Counseling through Liberty University. Her training emphasizes a systemic, relational understanding of individuals within the context of their families and closest relationships.

Brandi feels strongly about helping people heal past hurts so they can create healthier, more hopeful futures. She believes the counseling room should be a safe, steady space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported — and where meaningful, lasting change can take place. Working from an attachment-based perspective, she helps clients recognize relational patterns, strengthen secure connection, and develop new ways of engaging with themselves and the people they love.

Brandi integrates evidence-based approaches into her work, including Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed practices. She has a particular passion for addiction counseling and recovery work and is committed to supporting individuals and families impacted by substance use. She works with couples across many stages of life — offering premarital counseling to help build strong foundations, supporting marriages in distress, and helping families navigate and heal from the trauma of divorce. Brandi understands that addiction and relational trauma affect entire family systems and seeks to provide compassionate, structured support that fosters accountability, healing, and restored connection.

Brandi works with individuals, couples, and families, including adolescents and children. Her style is relational, collaborative, and grounded in both empathy and practical tools for change.
