Hi, I’m aLEXANDRA tUCKER, INTERN

Alexandra is a graduate clinician pursuing her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Carson-Newman University, with an anticipated graduation of December 2026. She earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2024.

She works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. Alexandra is passionate about creating a safe, authentic space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued.


Alexandra’s work is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, with a strong belief that trust and understanding are essential to the counseling process. She takes a collaborative, eclectic approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. Interventions may include mindfulness-based techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Narrative Therapy. Her focus is meeting clients where they are and empowering them toward healing and growth.


My Approach

Alexandra takes a collaborative, person-centered approach rooted in trust and understanding. She meets clients where they are, using an eclectic mix of CBT, mindfulness, Attachment Theory, and Narrative Therapy tailored to each person’s needs. With specialized training in TF-CBT, ASIST, and PFA, she creates a safe space for clients to show up authentically and work toward healing and growth.
